The approach on asnaf empowerment received a response from the Minister of Religious Affairs. Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs explained that the entrepreneurial capital assistance and skill enhancement programmes are empowered to improve the livelihood of the said groups.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Department of Zakat, Waqaf and Baitulmal Affairs is now enhancing assistance application management through a more systematic evaluation process and continuous monitoring. This is to ensure that distribution can be carried out more effectively to those who truly need it.
